Cedars Rheingold Fire Chief

A nearly perfectly globe-shaped shrub with fine, bright gold spring foliage and fantastic deep red fall colour. This sport of the popular Rheingold has a deeper colour and is less prone to splitting. A slow-growing, low maintenance evergreen perfect for massing in a landscape foundation or as a rock garden specimen.

Habit: Fire Chief arborvitae is a compact shrub,

slowly growing just to 2 to 4 feet tall and wide.

How to grow Fire Chief arborvitae: Site in full sun to part shade in a spot where it will not be buffeted by winds, particularly winter winds that can be very drying. ) Prefers well-drained soil and regular, moderate watering. Fire Chief will maintain its rounded shape without pruning. 

Full sun 5 hours or more of sun per day

Water when the top 2 inches of soil is dry.
